Yes! MMA Summer Camp is great for beginners and they will be exposed to the beginner’s program while the advanced participants will just do more elements of the same combat system. Imagine a drill containing 6 throws. Advanced participants will do 5-6 and beginners will do 2-3 throws. To explain this even better let’s use a tennis analogy: the beginners will work on backhand, forehand and serve, while the advanced participants will do all that + volley, overhead smash and lob. This will be done in all MMA segments (striking, wrestling and groundfighting).
Of course! Since they will not be participating at the camp all they have to pay is the hotel fee.

The deadline for application and payment is 10th of July and you can find all the necessary information here.
Absolutely! But for women to participate in the camp there needs to be at least two of them. Please contact us before payment so we can inform you about the possibility of participation.
Apart from being the most perfect hand-to-hand combat system, MMA is excellent for body conditioning and toning.
MMA is ideal for body conditioning and learning self defense. It can be practiced regardless of the shape you’re in or your experience in other sports.
MMA is practiced in a controlled environment and striking sparring is done with 10-20 % which drastically decreases the possibility of injury. Although we take all the precautionary measures (stimulating the friendly atmosphere in training, paying attention to the fatigue levels of the participants, sparring with no more than 20 %..etc) we wouldn’t be honest if we said that injuries are not possible. MMA is a contact sport but considering that the safety of the participants is our NO. 1 priority the possibility of injury is minimal.
Sparring is not obligatory and you will spar only if you want to.
The beginnerss will learn the basic MMA techniques, while the participants of the Advanced Camp will have the opportunity to experience all MMA elements, the way they are connected as well as technical and tactical elements of combat on all levels. Mental game and breathing techniques will also be covered, as well as the philosophy behind Kaizen’s system. The participants can also expect friendly atmosphere at the camp and the top level of instruction.
The price of MMA Summer Camp is 312 Euros. It includes 5 nights with breakfast included in Hotel Slavija Lux in the heart of Belgrade and 2 training sessions per day. In case you find your own accommodation, the price will be 182 euros (just for training).
If you decide to sign up and pay before 1st of June you will receive an early bird special price:
Training and hotel: 282 EUR.
Training only: 152 EUR.
You save 20% with our early bird discount.
We are not in the position to offer the camp for children at the moment.
The participants must be at least 16 years old.
The MMA Summer Camp instructors are Mark Lajhner and the entire Kaizen MMA Academy’s instructor crew. You can find out more about them here. You can also take a look at the videos of instructors in action here.
Of course! Everybody is welcome at the camp and training sessions will be held in English and Serbian. For payment options click here.
The camp was usually held in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia, but this year we will host it in the capital of Serbia – Belgrade, which is considered by many to be Europe’s party capital. We changed the location so that many foreign students would have an opportunity to explore Belgrade and so they wouldn’t have to travel several hours by bus from Belgrade to our usual location for the summer camp – Vrnjacka Banja.
Belgrade is located at the confluence of two rivers, Danube and Sava and has been inhabited since the 6th millenium BC. It is one of the oldest cities in the world and is famous for it’s history, hospitality, top notch restaurants (especially if you like meat), fine selection of alcoholic beverages (you must try local brandy called “rakija”) vibrant night life and beautiful women.
